Patient Care Assistant

Hello all my name is Lara Summers. I was born in England but grew up in rural Ireland, where I spent every spare minute out farming, milking cows, riding ponies and bringing every stray and injured animal home. This is where I found my true love and passion for all animals.

I went on to study animal care and animal science and health. During and after my studies, I worked in the equine industry where I worked in all disciplines and groomed international. After returning to the UK, I went on to pursue my career in the veterinary profession where I have worked as Veterinary Care Assistant since 2021.

At home I am kept busy with 2 dogs called Murphy & Tilly, 2 cats Mia & Milo, 4 ferrets, a horse and many koi carp. In my spare time, you will find me out walking the dogs, training the horse, out with family/friends, swimming or carp fishing.
