Dozens of visitors enjoyed a family-friendly open day at a our newly-opened Kidderminster vet practice.
Among more than 30 locals who visited Maggie and Marlow was Kidderminster mayor Councillor George Connolly.
Our community-focused practice held activities, competitions and giveaways, along with providing a rare glimpse behind the scenes of our cutting-edge surgery at Prospect House in Lion Square.
Mayor Connolly said: “It was fantastic to visit Maggie and Marlow. The new £1.5 million state-of-the-art facilities will provide much-needed investment into the town.
“I wish Maggie and Marlow all the very best in their new home.”
Practice manager and registered veterinary nurse Rhiannon Cartwright was delighted the event was such a success.
She said: “It was great to welcome so many animal lovers for our open afternoon. It was wonderful to shine a light on our facilities and what happens behind the scenes.
“We’re dedicated to supporting and helping to educate our local community and this was a great way for people to meet our team and learn about how we look after poorly pets.”
Our modern practice features five consulting rooms, two surgical theatres, its own laboratory and dental, X-ray and ultrasound suites.
