Pet Health for Life is not a pet insurance policy.
Plans are designed to split preventative care costs into affordable monthly payments. However, plans do not cover veterinary care for unexpected illnesses or pet injuries. We recommend enrolling in separate pet insurance for these situations. All treatment is subject to clinical assessment and need.

FAQ about our Pet Health for Life plans
How do I sign up?
Sign up online here or in person at your practice.
Are plans available for puppies and kittens?
Yes! If you enroll a dog online, sign them up for the plan that best matches their expected adult weight (over or under 25 kg). If your puppy doesn’t grow as expected, the plan can be adjusted.
Does one plan cover provide coverage for multiple pets?
No. Each plan covers annual preventative healthcare for one pet. If you have multiple pets, you'll need to sign each pet up for their own plan.
Is this an insurance plan?
No, Pet Health for Life plans are not pet insurance plans. These plans are designed to split preventative care costs into affordable monthly payments. They do not cover veterinary care for unexpected illnesses or pet injuries. We strongly recommend enrolling in a separate pet insurance policy for these situations.
Can I pay annually instead of monthly?
Yes, we can set up an annual direct debit. If you sign up in person, please request this from our team. This option is also available when you sign up online.
Can I use all the benefits on the day I join?
Some benefits are available on the day of joining, but limits apply as outlined in our Terms of Service. Flea and worm treatments are prescription-only and require veterinary approval. Your pet may need a vet check before dispensing, and appointments are subject to availability. Flea and worming treatments are given at regular intervals throughout the year, with a maximum of three months’ supply at a time. This allows us to monitor your pet’s health and weight.
How will the direct debit appear in my bank statement?
Each transaction will appear on your statement as ‘LinVet-MaggieMarlo’. (Our practice is part of Linnaeus Veterinary Limited.)
Can I change the date my direct debit is collected?
Monthly payments will be collected on either the 1st or 15th, depending on the day you signed up. All subsequent payments are collected on the 1st of the month. We cannot currently facilitate payments on different days in the month.
I haven't used all my pet's benefits this year. Can they carry over to next year?
Pet Health for Life plans are designed to cover your pet’s preventive care for the year. Any unused benefits will not carry over to the next year. To help you stay on track, we do offer reminders when your pet is due for treatment. If you’re not receiving them, please get in touch with our team.
I’m relocating. Can I use my plan at a different practice?
No, unfortunately, it’s not possible to transfer your plan to another practice.
Does this plan cover illnesses and injuries?
The Pet Health for Life plan covers your pet’s preventive care for the year, including two vet consults. However, treatment for illness or injury is not included and will incur additional costs.
This plan is not insurance and should not replace pet insurance. We recommend securing separate coverage—contact our practice for more details.
